The drainage throughout the property needs to be fixed. The grass in various areas is always flooded, the dog park is always flooded. These issues make it difficult to enjoy the property without getting excessively messy.

In the almost 2 years that I’ve been here, Maintenance inside the facilities has gone downhill. While the carpeting is still getting vacuumed, which is nice, The elevators are disgusting. They need to be cleaned a lot more often.

The staff is very friendly and they do an excellent job planning the events and they do well at decorating. I have been happy here and plan to renew my lease. However, I am not happy with the TV RECEPTION. My TV was having times when the sound would go down or start blaring. Sometimes the screen would go blank and sometimes it would go off. My son tried to fix it and Zoe and TJ also tried but couldn’t. My son bought me a new TV and it wouldn’t even come on so he took it back and bought another one. It comes on but has the same problems as the old one. Other residents are having the same problems. I don’t like paying $75.00 a month for the frustration and my old TV was probably okay. I feel like Cox should do something to fix this Problem. I don’t like to complain but there are a lot of people here who live alone like me and depend a lot on their TVs.

Resolved problem. Difficulty was delay in completing. Request was urgent and easily resolved in a few minutes, but it took several days before maintenance came to unplug the toilet. I don’t know if problem was due to slowness in transmitting message or in maintenance’s response.

I am new to the community and have leased a former model apartment. Therefore, the appliances and utilities are new. The service tech hooked up my washer as requested, and also turned on the hot water in one of the sinks as well as provided me with some maintenance coaching on other topics. He was knowledgeable, prepared, friendly and respectful. Thank you.

Overall, there are many things to like about Amberlin—the staff, most of all! I appreciate the elevators and the indoor maintenance. I would appreciate attention to the broken security door south of the mailboxes and the parking lot lighting being attended to. I feel badly for the people who have dogs when the dog park is flooded, but it also becomes a pest control problem for everyone when it goes on and on unattended. There is a lot to appreciate here.

I think allowing dogs of all sizes to be kept in apartments above the ground floor diminishes the complex as some of these animals are huge and could be seen as a potention source of inconveniece and danger to others as many of the seniors living here can easily knocked off our feet.

I really like my apartment. I think the rent is a little steep. I've made some good friends here. I am concerned about the yard upkeep. There is a dead tree near the elevator door by the dog park that is an eyesore. And sometimes trash tangles in bushes and might be there for days before it is removed. The maintenance of the dog park has improved. Staff is great! I understand sometimes rules are broken, life happens, but I am curious, is a resident notified they have violated a rule before a 10 day notice is issued? The 10 day notice seems a little harsh and can really be an upsetting time for an older person, just trying to get through life. I understand there are a lot of younger people here, but the older ones can sometimes take criticism as personal and they can feel like people want them out of the community. The process seems a little like he said she said, and just maybe sometimes it is a direct slam at a person they don't like just to be mean and vengeful. Some people will appear to be helping but the

The Greatest problem for seniors today is we are forced to live beyond our means by landlords and their desire to gain wealth quickly!!! The price is not only a difficulty, but the Demand of Income requirements is totally out of control and impossible especially for Senior Widows whose social security income doesn't begin to qualify us... My understanding was that a senior property was developed for the sake of senior incomes, giving back dignity to them for their inability to live life as we once did when we were able to work and provide a good income for life's costs. Today, that seems to be a thing of the past, it is no longer respected by landlords!! I'm trying very hard to find the reasoning for senior properties if costs are equal to the younger in age, with sufficient income!!! Would I enjoy living at your property?? ABSOLUTELY!!! BUT HOW!!! Wonderful complex and staff! My grandparents were looking for a new apartment, and the leasing staff made sure to go over all of their questions, and made it so easy to find them their perfect apartment! The manager, Erika, went above and beyond to make my grandparents feel confident in their decision! The ammenities are also fantastic, and the community is welcoming and social! I've been a resident for just over two months and all is well. I had requested prior to moving into the complex that the billiard/pool table and the large card table that share a room be adjusted inside the room so that both can be utilized at the same time. I was told that it would be done by the time I moved in. To be fair, I am aware that there was a change in management shortly after my arrival. I did request again that the move be taken care of. Recently a new manager/ asst. manager arrived.. her name is Erika Shammas... Since I was unable to be on the billiard table while the other card table was in use I asked her if she could get this done....AMAZING by noon the next day both tables were moved and can be used at the same time. Erika is a customer/tenant pleaser and has been referred to as the "go to gal" by several of the tenants. If only you could duplicate her.! Tom Carbone

I just moved a 93 year old family friend from a regular apartment to Amberlin Arrowhead, and the difference is striking. Other than being brand new which is nice, it is actually a reasonably priced apartment complex actually MADE for seniors, as opposed to a standard apartment that HAPPENS to be 55 and over. For example: 1. Walk in showers so there are no tripping hazards stepping out of a combo shower/bath. 2. The entire grounds and hallways are designed to minimize hazards and make mobility easier. My friend can walk the entire perimeter, and has even been walking to the nearby shopping centers! She had no such option at her previous place. 3. I don't know if the apartments are fully ADA-compliant, but they do have very wide spaces in the kitchen and bath, unlike a standard apartment. 4. The grounds are immaculate, and with my friend having a north facing unit on the third floor, she has an amazing patio and views of the mountains.
